Phil’s Sweet Signature Bake!
The Scott Farms Team visited the Cake and Bake Show 2014 and were thrilled to meet the lovely Phil Vickery, who was demonstrating some fabulous recipes from his Gluten Free Baking book.
Phil told us how he loved to bake with sweet potatoes, and was particularly fond of a cake made with bananas and roasted sweet potatoes (although he made sure we knew to roast them for exactly the right amount of time – not too soft, and not too firm). We can’t wait to get hold of the recipe! In the meantime we’ll be tuned into This Morning to see what creations Phil has up his sleeve.
The team were also reunited with Frances Quinn, winner of last year’s The Great British Bake Off, who previously had told us how she was a fan of our Scott Farms Sweet Potato Chips, and even used sweet potato chips to decorate her final showstopper bake. It was the icing on the cake of a great weekend!
